[Except what Mal said was the correct thing.

Because Daria knew that, especially now. So many people here were from places that she couldn't even fathom in her home. It took her some time, but she really grew to understand how her little circle of morals just don't simply apply to everyone. Not that they were bad people, not really. Nor were they-...well, "privileged" was a gross word. It applied though. Privilege.

So, it all made sense. For here, and in her head when she thought about it.

It was a long ass five to ten minutes before she came up with her reply. A very serious one.

At least he gave an answer, which she appreciated. It took a lot of pain to have a lot of stuff get finally unveiled to her last time. Not that she wasn't to blame. But, again, she really couldn't justify judging that. That would make her a hypocrite.]


Then I won't waste your time by judging you. I know life isn't something people are given a good hand at and are told it's easy.

At least you have the guts to admit it. You don't have to defend your actions because you were given a crappy hand and had to deal with it. So far you haven't used it as an excuse either.
